Growing up in Kenya and exploring Africa, with its vast array of exotic nature and its endless mood changing landscapes, has been a great inspiration. Likewise big cities with skyscrapers and constructions have their own unique presence and dynamics that provoke feelings of abandonment, loneliness and stillness all of which are crucial points in the overall outcome. The coral reef, with its abundance and richness of colour and light and its hidden beauty, is exposed with passion on the canvas.

Viewpoints and perspective are key elements in the paintings and are occasionally tilted and warped in order to intice as well as unease the viewer. Different techniques of brushwork and variable textures captivate and preserve the vision.
